DIY - Lent Banner instructions and materials to make a complete banner. This banner was inspired by the story and mechanics of two lessons, The Faces of Easter, and The Mystery of Easter. The last Faces of Easter card and the cross puzzle both flip over to reveal the resurrection of Christ. To connect with that element, the banner also flips from front to back. The front of the banner is purple with a white cross showing that even though Jesus died, there is hope of his resurrection. The back of the banner is white with a red risen Christ. This shows that the hope became truth as the red risen Christ leads us into Pentecost. The cut at the bottom of the banner signifies an arrow that points to the journey Jesus takes to the mystery of Easter and beyond.
