Enrichment Presentation - Parable
Volume 3 - Lesson 17: Parable of the Deep Well Includes: plain wooden box holding a cast resin well, golden threads, bucket and brown felt underlay.
From time to time children ask what parables really are. To help them find their own interpretation of what a parable is, another parable can be proposed. You might say, “We have a parable about that,” and present this parable to the child. You might want to present it to the group as well. This parable has its roots in the traditions of the rabbis.
Because this parable is not a parable of Jesus, you will find it in a plain wooden box on the second shelf of one of the Parable shelves.
